Car Care Tips

 Quick Tips from Craig

When it comes time to have your vehicles Air Conditioner serviced or repaired Please avoid having refrigerant sealer added to your system. These sealant additives appear every few years and beginning last summer they have made a dramatic reappearance.

Sealers not only can cause internal blockage in the refrigerant system [kinda like eating a double bacon cheeseburger] They can also cause damage to the recycling equipment that is used by all professional shops.

Many shops will test for sealer , Including Custom Automotive Care. Any system found to be contaminated with sealer cannot be serviced in the normal manner and will be very expensive to repair.

To add even more insult these sealers have proven to be less than effective in stopping leaks. Remember, if it sounds to good to be true is  probably is, especially when it concerns Air Conditioner repair in a can.
